ASSISTANT CONSTRUCTION MANAGER, REFURB, LONDON, CONSTRUCTION

A forward thinking Construction Contractor that specialises in Fit-Outs, Refurbishments and New-Builds are currently seeking an Assistant Construction Manager. This organisation has a solid reputation across the London Market and because of this are continuously winning some of the most prestigious and interesting projects in London. Currently turning over in excess £50m but have a clear vision to grow and increase this year on year, the Assistant Construction Manager will be joining the business at very exciting time.

Reporting into the Construction Manager, the Assistant Construction Manager will be responsible for the following:

*Work closely with the Construction Manager to assist on the production from the planning phase to completion.
*Monitor the build/refurbishment through the whole process ensuring that everything is developed to the highest standard and following health and safety procedures.
*Contribute to the development of construction schedules and provide cost estimates for the work required.
*Assist in the purchase or hire of the materials and tools needed, ensuring that they are delivered on time, and that the costs are within budget.

To be considered for this Assistant Construction Manager opportunity, you MUST have the following skills and experience:

*A stable and solid career working for a leading Contractor in a similar position.
*Have excellent organisation, communication and management skills.
*Be comfortable and confident liaising with clients and sub-contractors.
*Excellent numerical skills, and the ability to work within budget

Ideally you will be educated to a degree level however, if you have a stable track record working with other leading contractors, you also will be considered for this opportunity.
