Children’s Support Worker

This ASD School is looking for a Children’s Support Worker to join their school immediately to support in a small class of 8 students with Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome. You will be required to support them with their daily activities in and out of the classroom. Some of the students you will be supporting will be non-verbal, so it is essential that you are able to communicate using PECs or Makaton. The ideal Children’s Support Worker for this role will need to have previous experience and have a fun and friendly approach.

ASD School

This ASD School is located in the London borough of Lewisham and caters for students aged between 4-19 years who have been diagnosed on the Autistic Spectrum. They currently have 190 students who attend and in their last Ofsted in 2019, they were reviewed as ‘GOOD’ in all areas.
