Senior Communications Officer

Salary: £27.83 per hour

Camden Council are looking for a Senior Communications Officer to join their team.

The post-holder will plan, co-ordinate and deliver external communications and marketing strategies for key corporate projects.

• Improve the reputation of the council with residents to increase perception of the organisation as a professional and excellent council.
• Give residents information about the council in a way they want to receive it, in order to increase understanding about what the council does and how it provides value for money.
• Advise managers on strategic communication and marketing activities relating to key corporate projects, including reputation and stakeholder management.
• Monitor and report progress of communications and marketing strategies against objectives and milestones, provide robust evaluation and research into effectiveness.
• Manage external partners such as developers, training providers, tenants associations, community groups, volunteers.
• Ensure all guidelines and procedures are followed around house style, visual identity, local government publicity code, copyright and data protection.

The pay rate is £27.83per hour PAYE / £28.89 per hour umbrella PAYE.
