Commercial Claims Handler

Chelmsford, Essex

On behalf of a reputed Insurance Brokerage, we are currently looking for several experienced Commercial Combined / Package Claims Handlers, both mid-level and senior.

These positions are very customer focussed, requiring you to provide professional and efficient management of all claims from cradle to grave

These vacancies would suit ambitious applicants, as our client will look to provide opportunities to progress your career

You will ideally be CII qualified or working towards, have good experience handling property and liability insurance claims, and be confident in producing MI, so good IT skills are a requisite.

Responsibilities:

* Manage claims from across different products, such as property, liability and Motor, ensuring service standards are met and/or exceeded,

* Keep an efficient diary system for all claims, ensuring claims are chased as required,

* Provide the broking department and clients with claims information and reports as required,

* Ensure complexed claims are handled as per the group procedures,

* Acknowledge all new claims to both clients and insurers and keep clients informed, and ensure best outcome on each claim,

* Produce claims MI/claims reports when required,

* Meet with clients and present claims information when required,

* Undertake any other duties as requested by management on an ad-hoc basis
