Mechanical Design Engineer- Solidworks

Bright Masters Msc graduate or junior Mechanical design Engineers to join a rapidly growing design department in manufacturing of specialist oil and gas equipment.

The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for entire design phase for which is 80% focused on re-design and re-introduction of legacy products which will be modified in line with British ISO certifications and ASME standards. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for offering technical expertise for all design aspects.

The Mechanical Design Engineer must be driven, have an in depth understanding of core mechanical engineering principles.

Essential skills for the Mechanical Design Engineer:

• Must be Mechanical or Structural degree educated (BSc/ BEng (Hons)) or equivalent
• Proven design
• Knowledge and experience in Worthing with ISO
• 2D & 3D CAD ( Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor, Creo/ ProE)
• Experience with use of FEA Stress analysis
• Can read and alter design drawings and technical documentation
