Assistant Operations Manager

Salary: £42,000 per year

My client who have been in existence for nearly a decade is an award winning Buckinghamshire based company who support their clients nationwide with their facilities management requirements. Offering everything from commercial window cleaning to grounds maintenance. Other services they offer include external cleaning services, estate cleaning and management, internal cleaning and trauma/biohazard cleaning. 

I am currently working in partnership with them to find an Assistant Operations Manager. The purpose of the role is to assist the Operations Manager ensure that all works are completed successfully and to the required standards. Duties will involve close daily contact with the operational team (both management and Cleaning Operatives), visiting sites, communicating with clients, undertaking audits, problem solving and visiting sites when works are being undertaken, problem solving etc. The Assistant Operations Manager role requires working flexibility as weekend work will be required at times, the client will in return offer flexibility in return when required. This is a new role which will evolve to reflect operational efficiency. The role is office based so location wise candidates MUST be based within a daily commute of the High Wycombe area, although there will be plenty of travel to client sites therefore a UK driving licence is a must.

For this role candidates must have previous experience in a similar role within the FM sector, be flexible in their working attitude, have an ability to take control of a situation and provide solutions for any problems that may arise. 

Salary circa £42,000, vehicle (van or pick up) NEST Pension and 28 days holiday initially which will rise with service.
