Salary: £48,000 per year
A new opportunity has arisen for a Site Engineer to join a reputable civil engineering contractor due to planned growth and a secured pipeline of projects in West Yorkshire and Greater Manchester areas.
The Company
Is a principal civil engineering contractor who deliver various work such as Environment Agency framework projects, highways infrastructure, energy and other mixed civil engineering projects. They are acquiring projects rapidly and need new Site Engineers to supplement their current team of staff.
Current workload is spread across West Yorkshire, Lancashire and Greater Manchester mainly with Site Engineers always kept local where possible. If any working away is required, expenses are paid.
The Role
The successful applicant will take responsibility as a Site Engineer working on an individual project in either West Yorkshire or Manchester areas (dependent on locality). Ensuring that the site receives the correct engineering support to keep moving to programme.
Duties
Setting out of various civils work.
Handling QA and QC for site.
Delivering as-builts and surveys.
Managing and directing sub-contractors.
Experience Required
Experience as Site Engineer working for civil engineering contractor.
Experience setting out: RC, highways, drainage, heavy civils and groundworks etc.
Experience with use of: AutoCAD, Robotics/GPS and any other associated kit.
Ideally HNC/HND or degree qualified in a relevant subject.
Remuneration
Salary of up to £48,000 (dependent upon experience) alongside a competitive package including company vehicle or allowance, fuel card, annual leave entitlement, working away allowance and generous 10% pension scheme.
