A successful and established organisation currently recruiting for an Auto electrician / vehicle electrician / automotive wirer for their Bristol based operation.

Duration: Temporary – opportunity for Permanent or permanent to start
Hours: 7.30 – 4pm Monday to Friday with opportunities for overtime
Salary: £26,000 – £35,100per year
The company are offering a temporary role initially with the opportunity to become permanent or permanent to start for the right candidate with a range of benefits. Working Monday to Friday 7.30 – 4pm the annual salary of will be between £26,000 – £35,100per year depending on level of qualification and experience such as any supervisory skills. Overtime is available when opportunities arise but this is normally regular. There is good opportunity for advancement into a leadership role if the candidate has this aspiration and skills to do so.
The Auto electrician / vehicle electrician / automotive wirers key tasks include the wiring, modification and fitting of electrical systems to commercial vehicles. This will involve being in the workshop and occasionally at customers sites, so a current driving licence is preferred.
The Auto electrician role requires a background of working on vehicles or a knowledge of the motor industry or similar types of automotive production environments for this position. The ideal candidate will preferably have City and Guilds in Auto electrical or equivalent qualifications in a similar discipline however time served experience is also suitable.
The ability to be flexible and undertake basic mechanical, fitting tasks, using hand & power tools and working in a team environment are required as well.
The successful Auto electrician / vehicle electrician / automotive wirer should be self-motivated, capable of using their initiative given the nature of the mix of workshop and occasional customer’s site work.
