Quality Manager

Salary: £30,000 per year

Our client based in Keighley is looking to recruit a Quality Manager on a part time, permanent basis.

The role involves:

• Ensuring processes needed for the Quality Management System (QMS) are maintained.
• Carry out specific actions related to the conformance of GAS to ISO 13485:2016, this involves:

1. Document control procedures
2. Ensure that records are established and maintained to provide evidence that the QMS is being followed.
3. Ensuring that the performance of the QMS is reviewed.
4. Ensure that new staff are inducted into the requirements of the QMS relating to their own role / responsibility. Provide update training as necessary.
5. Ensure test equipment is properly maintained & fit for purpose.
6. Training records – ensuring they are, & remain, up to date.
7. Suppliers – Carry out annual assessment & review.
8. Complaints – keeping daily records of all customer complaints. Providing annual statistical analysis.
9. Internal audits

• Report to management on the performance of QMS and any need for improvement.
• Liaise with external assessment bodies on all matters related to the external accreditation processes.
• Follow all company’s filed procedure & protocols.
• Cooperate with technical & customer service teams and share information across the organisation.
• Working closely with customer Quality Management teams.

Previous experience working with ISO 13485:2016 would be very beneficial and having Quality Management experience is essential.

Salary: £30,000/annum

Hours of work 20 hours a week (9am-2pm Monday to Thursday)

16 days annual leave plus Bank / Public Holidays.
