Security Manager

The Role:
Customer liaison lead in security and business continuity matters and also undertake regular supply chain audits of designated sub-contractors manufacturing secure items for the company ensuring that contractual security and business continuity arrangements are maintained.
Responsible for the maintenance and revision of Business Continuity Management System and related plans. Some coordinate with other manufacturing sites is required.
Manage the company specific physical security systems (CCTV) including specific projects to enhance or improve operational capability and organisation.
Train and mentor security personnel and line management on functional security policy, procedures, implementation, best practice and security awareness, acting as mentor where required and CPD advisor to security staff.
Provide security assistance and advice to the Group Director of Security & Supply Chain, Head of Security
Manage the investigation process of all losses and discrepancies relating to secure items as stipulated in the company directives.
Manage the processes for secure receipt, storage and availability of secure materials in accordance with company directives.
Carry out all security related activities on behalf of the Head of Operations in accordance with annual objectives and business imperatives.

The Person:
Previous experience in a similar role working as a senior security manager.
Held a significant position in one of the services in a managerial capacity, involved in the identification, mitigation and management of risk and security.
A qualified Security Manager with accredited experience in Business Continuity Management.
Trained in Investigations techniques with familiarisation and understanding of malpractice investigation in the workplace.
Full working knowledge of the latest physical and technical means to deter and prevent crime.
Audit, asset protection and loss prevention trained.
Shipping/Logistical planning and management capability (Known Consignor).
