Logistics Assistant (Part-Time)

This is a part-time role working 20 hours per week – either 5 x 4 hour days or 2.5 full days.

A rapidly growing and hugely successful online interiors business are looking for a proactive and upbeat candidate who can assist with the order process and warehousing

What will you be doing?

Working closely with the Director and Sales Manager to facilitate order processes including

Picking, packing, goods in and out
Labelling and counting new stock and components
Assisting with monthly stock checks
Processing of orders and parcels on in-house systems
General warehouse duties, keeping the warehouse tidy and organised
Assisting the sales and customer service team with phone and shop cover when required.
This role can be physically demanding – heavy lifting will be required.

What are we looking for?

Ideally we are looking for someone who has gained experience within a similar role in logistics, warehousing or order processing.

The most important thing will be attitude – someone who is going to be proactive and have the right attitude to roll your sleeves up and get involved. Great communication skills and attention to detail are required
