Bury St Edmunds based Permanent role for an experienced HR professional to come in as a HR Business Partner joining a developing HR function in the Logistics distribution and supply chain industry
Client Details
I have a really exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join this Bury St Edmunds based Global Logistics distribution and supply chain groups Human Resources Function.
You will be working closely with the new HR Team to prioritise initiatives and to ensure seamless delivery to the wider business and operational Team. Supporting on a range of HR initiatives centred around employee engagement, relations and policies, you will assist, coordinate, and support the execution of our people strategy and provide 1st line employee relations support to the wider team.
Description
HR Business Partner duties and responsibilities;
Answers 1st line employee relations queries aligned to policies and aligning to group values
Coaches managers and employees on HR policy, practice and employment legislation
Manages Employee Relations cases in full – including note taking and creating case packs (with guidance from the Snr HR Business Partner)
Helps to champion the Diversity & Inclusion and Wellbeing Agendas
Contributes to HR thought leadership and brings ideas to the table
Pulls together regular data on key measures for business areas and produces the business HR data
Meticulously pulls the data together to support decision making
Coordinates the annual Performance Review Process and answers the 1st line management support queries, supports the consistency sessions, monitors completion, supports the management of performance improvement plans and provides timely data to managers
Helps identify process improvements and owns actions to make improvements happenProfile
HR Business Partner experience and characteristics required
Strong prior HR/ People Advisory/ Generalist experience
Strong employee relations experience and exposure
Fully up to date knowledge of HR legislation and processes
Flexible approach to support the business and wider HR Team
Eagerness to learn and develop your company and HR knowledge
The desire to be in a hands on HR Role supported by a talent, L&D and International HR Services function
Based locally to Luton and able to commute to the office 4-5 days per week ideally
High level of communication skills both verbal and written is essential
Proven ability to plan and implement projects/initiatives
