Maintenance Engineer Multi Skilled – Late Shift

Salary: £43,200 per year

Skilltech Resourcing are currently seeking a time served Multi skilled maintenance engineer (Electrical bias) for their manufacturing client in Stretton (Cheshire).

The role will be based on a late shift Mon to Thu (4.00pm to 2.30am) and involve carrying out repairs on plant and production equipment within a steel forming and sheet metal (production) environment.

Duties include but not limited to:-

• Provide electrical and mechanical support to the maintenance department.
• Reactive and preventative maintenance of production related equipment and building services when required, including the use of TPM system.
• Work closely with production to prioritise maintenance/repairs ensuring minimum downtime.
• Manage parts inventory at an optimum level.

Qualifications/experience

• ONC engineering or equivalent and 17/18th edition regulations.
• Experience with brake/ turret presses or production welding equipment an advantage.
• Experience of Inverters, 3 phase motors, PLC`s (preferably Allen Bradley).
• Mechanical skills, machine moves and installations etc.

This is a permanent position working with a standard 39 hour week (late shift).

Salary £43,200 depending on experience plus overtime (£44,100 inc shift allowance).
