Multi Skilled Engineer

Salary: £51,600 per year

I am working with a world leading manufacturing company within the FMCG sector, would are looking for an experience multi-skilled engineer to join their team.
The role will be based from my clients purpose built manufacturing facility in Bradford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a multi-skilled engineer who is interested in working with an innovative company that has just recently, heavily invested in state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment which involves high speed production machinery.
You will be joining a team of engineers who are responsible for the maintenance and repair of various machinery including Pick & Place robots, lithographic printing presses, power presses, Automated ops robots, IML systems and injection moulding equipment, to name but a few!
The job duties will include:
* Fault finding and diagnosing mechanical & electrical breakdowns
* Carrying out repairs and maintenance where required
* Proactively identifying new ways and methods to increase efficiency of repairs for future
* Providing a detailed handover to the next shift engineer
* Liaising with engineering supervisor regarding part requirements, and stock levels
* Using the inhouse computer management maintenance system to manage and record daily work activities
Requirements:
* A sound knowledge of both mechanical and electrical fault finding
* Experience within Pneumatic, hydraulic and PLC controls
* Knowledge of inverters and drives
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications required:
* NVQ 3 engineering or equivalent
* ONC electrical engineering or equivalent
This role will be operated on a rotational shift pattern, and may incur call outs (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am)
In return my client is offering a salary package up to £51,600depending upon experience, progression opportunities and bi-annual salary reviews
