Resourcing Specialist – In-house recruitment
Location: Warwickshire and WFH (hybrid role)
Salary: £30,000 – £43,200+ great benefits
Our market leading Client are looking to recruit an engaging and proactive Resourcing Specialist to take responsibility for junior and niche resourcing requirements as well as volume campaign recruitment. Supporting the delivery of strategic talent resourcing initiatives and projects.
To ensure that the business attracts, recruit and retain the right people at the right time for such roles. Supporting the development and deployment of effective talent attraction, recruitment and onboarding strategies covering all aspects of the recruitment cycle including but not limited to sourcing channels, direct sourcing, talent pooling, candidate experience, employer brand, assessment strategy, and vetting. Alongside collaborating with their external partners.
This role would suit an “In-House” Recruiter or Recruitment coordinator or an experienced agency recruiter looking to make their first move into the “in House” resourcing and recruitment market.
To ensure the delivery of day-to-day recruitment activities and performance against SLAs and KPIs.
To champion a continuous improvement philosophy in the team and wider department, and to ensure compliance targets are met.
To be a brand ambassador, increasing awareness of the business as an Employer.
Support the people strategy by:
* Being innovative in defining their approach to the market
* Increasing the direct hire activity
* Design, develop and deliver effective recruitment strategies and practises, support recruiting managers with the delivery of these
Undertaking responsibility for end to end recruitment activities including advertising, agency management, CV screening, interviewing, offer management
The role:
Manage the end to end recruitment process for a variety of junior to mid level and niche roles and volume campaign recruitment (both internal and external), including but not limited to;
Working closely with key stakeholders and HR Business Partners to understand recruitment requirements and manage approvals
Designing and agreeing effective sourcing and assessment strategies
Proactive building of external talent pools against talent requirement and succession plans
Writing effective adverts and advertising through a variety of channels
Using knowledge and experience of the market place and sourcing tools to carry out direct sourcing, market mapping and head hunting
Supporting the assessment process including screening CV’s, supporting interviews and coordinating assessments where required
Managing candidate experience and ongoing engagement
Managing and navigating through the offer process
Overseeing the onboarding and referencing processes within Shared Service and ensuring these are progressed efficiently for roles within area of responsibility
Managing and updating the recruitment systems
Keep up to date with market trends/different ways that we could be engaging with and attracting talent including identifying and attending suitable events.
In line with stakeholder and business requirements, design, develop and deliver effective recruitment strategies that will stand out in the market place.
Increase direct sourcing activity through effective utilisation of various media channels, CV database mining, use of networks etc.
Support the drive to improve our approach to the market through exploring innovative routes. Research, propose and support the implementation of tools and strategies that are market competitive, aligned to the Resourcing strategy framework and deliver value for money.
Support the development of the employer brand via multiple channels (online, website, recruitment fairs etc.) in order to promote the organisation’s presence in the labour market and facilitate the attraction of high quality candidates.
Continually drive improvement to policy, processes and practices in order to attract, recruit and retain the right talent, reduce time to hire and agency spend, and increase retention
Design, develop and champion best fit assessment processes and tools which enable recruiting managers to make fair and informed selection decisions. Review the effectiveness of assessment process and tools.
Work with the Reward Manager and Specialist to ensure roles are evaluated and benchmarked as appropriate and within required timescales. Support this process by provided relevant insight from internal or external sources.
Support the production and maintenance of management information; creating and interpreting MI relating to all aspects of recruitment and onboarding. Analyse the data to identify and share trends, and make recommendations to enable business improvements.
Support and advise managers in the delivery of the resourcing strategies and support them in the use of the Recruitment systems and processes
Engage with and manage the performance of external suppliers, including agencies where required, building effective partnerships based on trust and understanding of our business.
Make recommendations for changes and updating the Resourcing policies and Intranet where applicable. Be responsible for ensuring appropriate changes and updates are made.
Ensure the functionality of the Recruitment system is fit for purpose. Keep up to date with new features/updates, engage the team on these and implement those that are relevant into our ways of working.
The person:
Ideally be degree qualified
Previous in-house or agency experience gained in a cross-functional environment
Applicant tracking system maintenance and use
Direct sourcing skills across a variety of channels including but not limited to job boards and LinkedIn
Strong computer literacy skills with the ability to develop trackers and reports
Competency with Microsoft Office suite. With particular emphasis on Excel, Word and motivated to grow capabilities
Strong, clear communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to be able to communicate with people at all levels whilst building strong relationships.
Ability to challenge and influence
Self-motivated; able to work independently and as part of a wider team with shared goals and purpose
Excellent time management and organisation skills.
Enthusiasm, energy and determination to achieve results.
Confident and comfortable working within a confidential environment and handling and sharing sensitive data.
