Position: Cleaning Assistant 
Location: Whitley Bridge, Yorkshire (commutable from Pontefract, Goole, Leeds, Selby 
Job type: Part time, fixed term contract for 12 months 
Hours: 15 hours per week, 4.30pm – 7.30pm Monday to Thursday, 2:30pm – 4:30pm Friday, work as part of a team of 9 cleaners. 
Salary: £26,000per year 

About the Role: 
Tunstall are currently recruiting for a committed reliable Cleaner for their Global Head office in Whitley Bridge. You will be providing a professional and high quality cleaning service within the offices and manufacturing areas. 

Specific areas of responsibility will be to clean designated internal areas and toilets of the building using appropriate equipment and cleaning materials. You will also operate powered equipment including vacuum cleaners and buffers when necessary to meet the cleaning specification. 

Further responsibilities will include removing litter and ensure that all bins are emptied and clean from designated areas. You will ensure the safe storage and use of cleaning materials, adhering to COSHH procedures. You will also report all accidents and incidents. 

About You: 
To succeed in this role you will be able to exercise initiative and prioritise duties accordingly. You will be willing to be trained in the use of vacuum cleaners and buffer, and have an awareness of Health & Safety issues and the need for safe methods of working. You will also have an awareness of COSHH regulations. 

You may have experience of the following: Cleaning Assistant, Cleaner, COSHH, Health and Safety, Domestic Assistant, Cleaning, Hygiene etc.
