Our client is looking to strengthen the team with an experienced Environmental Advisor to oversee utility projects.

Salary to £54,000 | Company Vehicle + Fuel Card | Stakeholder Pension | 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Key Essentials:

* Reporting to the SHEQ Manager; you will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are given environmental support whilst liaising with the Health & Safety and Site Management teams on the implementation of objectives and policies on their projects

* Overseeing, advising and reporting on Environmental issues including Carbon Footprint Monitoring and Site Waste Plans; ensuring that compliance is met, whilst maintaining Management Systems adhere to ISO 14001

*Producing plans for environmental management (EMS), waste, material management and emergency response

* Conduct incident investigations in accordance with reporting procedures and analysing all data, making recommendations to avoid any recurrences

* Assisting with applications for waste permits

* Coordinating and assisting in the preparation and maintenance of the Environmental Management Systems. Helping to ensure that they are circulated and complied throughout the business

* Planning and executing internal audits to assess the implementation of Environmental Control Procedures at project level

Requirements:

* You should ideally be qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in an Environmental related discipline and hold NEBOSH accreditation

* Qualified with IEMA Level 3 in Environmental Management with a good understanding of legislation including consents, permits and licenses

* You should be an excellent communicator with meticulous attention to detail
