The Company

My client are a cyber-security technology company and are looking for a Junior Systems Administrator to join their team. The company has seen rapid growth since its inception just over 3 years ago and at the latest headcount there are over 320 colleagues, a rapid increase of over 70 over the past 3 months.

This Junior Systems Administrator role would suit a recent school/college leaver with strong academic results who chose not to go to University. You will join a small team in London that manages, grows, secures and supports the company’s global network and IT infrastructure.

You will provision and secure new devices, support local and remote users and administer user accounts. You will also have the opportunity to work with ground-breaking products before and after their commercial release, and feed back into their development. You will be actively involved in continuing and improving the Information Security program, which has recently achieved ISO 27001 certification. My Client retains a small-company feel with a lively environment and a wide variety of work.

Requirements:

* Strong A-level results or equivalent in mathematics/science (ABB+)
* A natural talent for IT

Desirable:

* IT support and troubleshooting experience
* Secure Operating System setup and deployment
* Linux and/or Windows Server administration
* OS X use and administration
