Registered Manager – Children Ld

Salary – £36,000 – £42,000(relocation package up to £10k offered)

I am currently recruiting for two Registered Manager’s for two brand new children’s homes based in Dorset for children with learning difficulties, Autistic Spectrum Disorder and challenging behaviour.

My client is a leading provider of care services for adults and children with learning difficulties and Autism.

The successful candidates must have

*QCF Level 5 in Management
*Minimum 2 years managing a residential children’s service
*Strong experience working with Autism and understand the needs of the clients
*Excellent personal skills to work closely with the families of the children
*Ability to establish and develop relationships with local authorities and community
*Strong Ofsted track record
*Own driving license

The Registered Manager’s responsibilities are to

*Manage the home on a day to day basis
*Work within agreed budgets
*Recruit, train and develop all staff
*Line manage the deputy manager and seniors
*Establish relationships with the local authorities, social workers and GP’s
*Work very closely with the families to ensure they are involved
*Undertake all assessment and referral procedures
