Children’s Home Registered Manager

Salary: £7,200 per month

Their 10 homes (that number will be growing this year.) cater for children with a variety of needs and help given them the normality and support they need to lead a productive live into adulthood. Now more than ever, children need the mental support of this company.

They are recruiting for a Registered Manager for a 4 bed residential children’s home, you will be:-

* Based in a 4 bedroom children’s residential home in Burton on Trent

* Working Monday to Friday with some out of hours work if the home needs it

* Doing Reg 44 and Reg 45 reporting

* Running the children’s home in terms of Ofsted compliance, managing team leaders, making sure care plans are correct and the team are always providing the best care they can for the children

* Helping to recruit for additional staff in the future

* Managing the home in terms of staff and budget

Qualifications/Experience/Requirements

* NVQ Level 5 health and social care or equivalent qualification needed

* Level 3 diploma in children and young people

* Living within travelling distance to the home in Burton on Trent

* You must over 21 years old and have a full UK driving licence

* You would need experience working as a manager with a children’s home

* Ofsted knowledge would be needed as well as general safe guarding and compliance experience
