Industrial Electrician – Nights

Up to £40,000 depending on experience
Working for one of the market leaders in the Water, Energy and Rail industries, you’ll be ready to take your electrical skills to the next level.
Your strong Industrial electrical background will go hand-in-hand with your high standard of work.
You will find yourself working in the Rail Environment performing:
Electrical preventative and reactive maintenance work in an industrial environment which includes:
– PPM activities on Electrical & Control System, Field Equipment and Drive & Braking Assets
– CBM Activities on Drive and Braking Systems
– Reactive Maintenance (“Fault Calls”) – Fault finding & rectification, Root Cause Analysis and customer reporting on -Electrical & Control Systems and Field Equipment Assets
To be successful you’ll need to be capable of:
– Using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems.
– The ability to use and interpret electrical schematics, manuals and other technical information to assist with all maintenance activity task specifications.
– Working in accordance with the company and customer safe systems of work and permit to work systems.
– Working Full time nights at 40 hours p/week (Sunday- Thursday) as well as call out rota for breakdowns (Required)
What do we need from you?
– To hold an NVQ Level 3 in an Electrical discipline (desirably Maintenance) having either completed an Apprenticeship (awarded by an approved body) or also holding the AM2 Qualification (Required)
– To hold 18th Edition Wiring Regulations training certification (Required)
– To hold a full drivers license
– Experience in Industrial Electrical & Control System Assets (Required)
– Experience in performing Preventative and Reactive Maintenance activities (Required)
– Experience in using and interpreting electrical schematics and other relevant other technical information (Required)
– Experience in Condition Based Maintenance activities (Desirable)
– The ability to adapt and respond to unforeseen events and act accordingly
– Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and a familiarity with the Internet in order to be self-sufficient with all manner of IT based tasks (PPM Reports and Employee HR Services)
– The ability to plan and coordinate effectively without supervision
