As the next Z-Tech Mechanical Technician, you will be working with a vast array of Energy generation, distribution, and regulation equipment across some of the UK’s key Energy assets. This exciting opportunity will give you the chance to deliver preventative and corrective maintenance as well as continuous improvement and project implementation across the Gas, Energy from Waste, and renewable energy sectors.

You’ll be providing mechanical support around the South East area therefore travel will be expected around this region throughout your day. Your heavy industry or Energy / Oil and gas background will go hand in hand with the high standard of work expected across our customer’s sites.

So what’s involved?

As an experienced Mechanical Technician, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of preventative and reactive maintenance, fault finding, installation of new systems, and equipment commissioning.

These activities will be performed in accordance with industry standards including Electrical, and Gas Safety regulations on and off-site. Due to the nature of the Energy industry, on-call may be requested.

To Be Successful

– Apprenticeship trained in Mechanical / Multi-skilled maintenance or demonstrated experience.
– Successful completion of ONC/HNC in engineering or NVQ & C&G Level 3 Mechanical / Multiskilled Maintenance.
– 18th Edition Wiring Regulation
– Electrical experience and competence are advantageous but not essential.
– Full driver’s license.
