Ecologist
Cambridge
Our client is an international consultancy with a reputation for excellent in the field of ecology. They are currently looking to recruit an Ecologist to their multidisciplinary team based near Cambridge. You shall provide an ecological consultancy service to a range of public and private sector clients including developers, renewable energy companies and various rural industries. You shall be provided with the platform to develop your career within the company and be given the opportunity to work towards protected species licences.
About You: Strong academics with Ecology Consultancy experience. Ideally at least one protected species licence. A full valid driving licence.
Duties include:
*Phase 1 and 2 and NVC habitat surveys
*Protected species surveys
*Wildlife legislation and EIA project input
*Assisting planning application work
*Undertaking Ecology Chapters for EcIA
*Assisting with business development
