Salary: £26,000 per year
Our client is seeking an experinced Production Operative to join them on a 6 month basis.
Standard hours are 35.5 Mon – Fri
Job Description:
* Run off Kitting Lists & Kitting Schedule
* Kit products ready for production
* Issue kitted items
* Highlight shortages on Kitting Shortage List
* Daily look at back issues for Kits – issuing where applicable
* Updating Live Operations spreadsheet daily
* Updating Kitting Schedule daily
* Comply with all company policies, procedures and practice and procedure guidelines, including in regard to health and safety and quality management.
* As part of a team, provide assistance to assist Production Team members where necessary.
* Cover the work of colleagues during absence, to include: Using internal sysstems to monitor and input data on items leaving stores, rejects and allocating stock
* Maintain organised and efficient kitting area
Person Specification:
Essential
* Experience of working in a production team.
* Stores experience.
* Confident and able to assist on resolving problems.
* Knowledge of production processes and key priorities in order to meet customer requirements.
* Well organised.
* Understanding of the importance of the management of health and safety.
* Adopt a flexible ‘can do’ approach.
* Willing and eager to learn.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Full driver’s licence.
