Salary: £600 – £960 per day
AWS / Amazon Web Services / Cloud / Engineer / On-premise to Cloud / Infrastructure Engineer /UK Remote working / US and UK working hour options / Day rate / Outside IR35
Immediate requirement for a day rate (Outside IR35) contract. Looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes) to lead and support our US client through their end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud.
The role will involve working closely with architects to engineer and maintain AWS cloud services.
This role will be supporting a US business and can offer US (EST) working hours, UK (BST) working hours or hybrid of the two.
- Excellent communication skills are essential, with strong verbal and writing proficiencies.
- Experienced AWS engineer
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation Templates)
- Experience with Kubernetes and ideally AWS ECS
- Familiarity with DevOps approaches and Agile methodologies
- Experience with Json, Python and Yaml
- Experience creating Service Catalog Products
- Experience creating Custom IAM Roles
- Manage Control Tower, AWS Organization and Accounts, develop GuardRails and Templates.
- Manage and maintain cloud environments and infrastructure in accordance with best practices and security policies.
- Deploy systems monitoring and reporting solutions.
- Maintain network diagrams, systems installation configuration & guides, support procedures and runbook.
- Create and update documentation
