Care Assistant – DAYS or NIGHTS – Permanent – £26,000 per year – Bedford

This is a stunning home, a flag ship home for a National Care provider which is finished to incredibly high standards. You will be working in a purpose-built property with state-of-the-art facilities designed to support individuals with residential and dementia care needs. You will be working for a charitable organisation who put the needs of the 62 residents and its staff first, this home is rated at Good by the CQC.

We have the following contracts available –

·Days Care Assistant – 39 Hours – £26,000 per year (3 ½ shifts a week, typically 8am-8pm. which involves every other weekend being worked)

·Nights Care Assistant – 33 Hours – £26,000 per year (3 shifts a week, typically 8pm-8am. which involves every other weekend being worked)

The rota is a Fixed 2 week rolling rota, so you can plan your work/life with ease.

Key Responsibilities

·To provide the highest level of personal care and attention to residents, following individual care plans carefully and ensuring that all contact is polite, friendly, warm and supportive.

·To act as a key worker for a named group of residents, ensuring that these responsibilities are carried out in full (as defined in the training manual).

Person specification

·1 Year minimum experience of working in an elderly social care environment is essential.

· Must be Double jabbed as per company policy
