Development Manager
The opportunity for a Development Manager based in Lancaster.
The company are a growing, business and enjoy creating Award Winning Web Solutions. Due to recent success they are now looking to add to their team.
Your overall purpose is to facilitate the running of the development team, ensuring they are producing quality work on time and on budget. You will have responsibility for the direct line management of the development team. You will also be accountable for estimating and planning of the team’s work whilst ensuring that this is managed in a way that allows flair and creative innovation to flourish.
The successful candidate will have significant web development experience, but not want to be working in code all day every day.
Essential Criteria for Development Manager:
Significant experience in a web development capacity, working ideally in PHP & MySQL
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
An understanding of business operations including an appreciation of how a business makes money and the contributing / affecting factors
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent planning and problem solving skills and an inherent ability to find innovative solutions to technical problems
£30k – £40k plus benefits
