CAD Technician

Salary: £36,000 – £60,000 per year

CAD Technician | £30,000 – £50,000 | London | Fit Out & Interiors | Permanent

We are eagerly looking to speak with CAD Technicians with a genuine passion for their work, to join a leading design and build fit out contractor in central London. 

Located in a unique office space close to the heart of the city, the CAD Technician will provide construction design solutions that meet the needs of the business and their discerning clients, participating in and actively supporting the construction team through taking responsibility for architectural and CAD systems.

CAD Technician – Key responsibilities and duties:

• Producing detail design drawings as required by the construction team and specialist subbies
• Engage with the Design Director of the assigned team to assist with changes on drawings and implementing contract variations
• Continuously improve design and CAD systems
• Assist the design team to ensure agreed drawing procedures are followed
• Ensure all drawings are compliant with UK Building Control Regulations and the DDA

CAD Technician – qualifications, skills and experience:

• The CAD Technician will need to have experience of working on commercial office interiors
• Advanced AutoCAD skills
• REVIT experience would be a significant advantage
• Strong IT/Software skills Microsoft Excel, Adobe InDesign, Powerpoint, Photoshop
• High level of motivation, enthusiastic and ambitious to progress
• Sound communication and interpersonal skills
