We are working with a leading provider of transitional care services who are looking for more experienced support workers to join their team

Your new role
This role will involve being a support to young adults who are transitioning out of the looked after environment and into independent living. Support may be required with applications for further education, applying for a bank account, preparing meals, learning to create budgets and set targets for saving, navigating relationships with family and friends and much more.

What you’ll need to succeed
The ability to be adaptable and flexible
Excellent listening skills
Good clear communication skills
Previous experience working with children or young adults
A Minimum of 6 months experience in a social care role in the last 2 years
