CARE MANAGER BASED IN POOLE DORSET £26,000 per year

Due to expansion, an exciting position has become available for a team leader to join our friendly team residential care home based in Poole. The successful team leader will earn £26,000 per year and 25 days holiday. If you have experience in residential care, then this is a perfect opportunity to grow your career and earn good money.

Role Requirements:

We are looking for a passionate and caring individual with proven ability to lead, motivate and mentor a team.

You will be responsible for annual leave /rota management, good time management skills, ability to prioritise and organise provision of care to our residents whilst promoting their dignity and independence.

You will value kindness, the stories that our residents have to tell and have a belief that working in residential care provides us with an opportunity to give something back to others

Role Responsibilities

You will be responsible for annual leave /rota management, good time management skills, ability to prioritise and organise provision of care to our residents whilst promoting their dignity and independence.

Leading, motivating and mentoring your team, identifying training needs, to demonstrate the safe and smooth efficient running of the home.

Carrying out assessments and developing, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans and using audits to assess positive outcomes are achieved for all residents.

A willingness to guide and coach staff and overseeing that staff provide a high standard of care and have the correct skills for their role.

You will be required to work 3 nights per week (36 hours flexible between Mon – Sun) in order to work with all staff and assess needs and quality of care.
