Property Manager

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Property Manager to join a leading property organisation based in new, open plan offices in central Leeds. This role would suit someone from a property background who enjoys working in a lively, busy and welcoming team environment.

The Role:

Title: Property Manager

Salary: £26,000per year

Fixed Term Contract: 6 months

To deliver excellent customer service by understanding and meeting client requirements.

Responsibilities include:

Dealing with tenant requests
Meeting reasonable tenant requirements by understanding them and matching them to the available properties/resources
Undertaking prospective tenant initial assessment
Producing tenancy agreements on renewal
Decide and action what proportion of the deposit is returned following move out
Understanding all appropriate regulatory requirements for rental property
Establish and maintain appropriate records, and documentation
Provide the agreed and other necessary information to Field Agents in a timely manner
Manage tenant and Third party issues or complaints arising from the occupation of property or the management of it
Instruct and manage maintenance works
Process invoices from third parties for payment
On a daily basis action diary items, resolving problems and issues
Maintain key register
Implement Rent Review policy, dealing with all queries and challenges
Establishing and maintaining a good working relationship with third party suppliers (such as contractors and agents)
Keeping up to date with any new, and changes to, legislation requirements and obligationsWho we’re looking for:

The successful candidate will be personable and enjoy working in a team environment. The candidate will be self motivated and happy to work with minimum supervision. The successful candidate will be patient, empathetic and have excellent business acumen. The candidate will be articulate in both written and verbal communication with excellent IT skills. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months relevant experience and experience within the rented housing sector.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Location: Leeds centre
