My favoured Surrey client is recruiting again. They are an established 4 partnered Chartered Accountants offering; Taxation, Audit, Accountancy and Compliance services. Due to a current senior member of staff relocating, they are currently recruiting for a new Senior Practice Accountant to join the team. In return they can offer a professional yet friendly working environment and excellent client base, which includes Solicitors, Charities and GP Practices to name a few.
The Role:
As a Senior Qualified Accountant, you will be responsible for leading assignments across accountancy, taxation and audit and supervising junior staff, requiring your personal drive and commitment to work.
Once you are settled in the role you will be responsible for managing clients, whilst undertaking jobs to a high degree of completion. Direct client contact is a key part of this role and therefore excellent communication skills are essential.
To be considered for the role, you must:
Have experience of working in a mixed role in an accounting practice,
Good knowledge of accounting, including different legal entities, sole traders, partnerships and limited companies,
Be qualified in ACA or ACCA, with 1-3 years post qualified experience,
Knowledge of charity client accounts is desirable.
