Interim Bids Manager (9 Month FT Contract)

Salary: £72,000 per year

We are excited to be recruiting for a unique and specialist role for our reputable client based in Nottingham. They are on the hunt for a Bids Manager to join their company and transform their approach to bids and other sales processes, ensuring they are on target and on strategy. To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:

Extensive experience of the bid and tender process
Experience in a professional services environment (desirable)
Extensive experience of scoping, pitching, coaching for verbal presentations, and debriefing clients
Proven experience of using analysis of performance to drive improvement
Proven ability to influence and manage key stakeholders across the business
Strong verbal communication and able to present and articulate to a high standard
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
The ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptable to be able to collaborate with different departments effectively, as well as excellent people skills to be able to implement new processes across the business. Ideally you will also like to get involved in various projects

Within this position, you’ll also be:

Continuing to improve and update bid skills through regularly reading, discussions with lateral hires (obtaining insight from other firm) and general market intelligence
Improving best practice around bids
Ensuring that bids are focussed on client need, liaising client with the BD team and lawyers to help achieve this
Coaching a team to ensure they are on track and prioritising the right workload
Analysing feedback and proactively making improvements to bid content
Working with BD team to ensure appropriate sector messaging
Working with L&D advisor to deliver pitch training needs across the business
Ensuring all staff are equipped with the necessary skills for a successful client pitch presentation
Salary & Working Hours

Salary is £72,000

Working hours are Monday – Friday – Remote working
