Care Assistant | Residential Home | Adults & Older People | Southend – Essex
We are currently seeking a Care Assistant to work within a Residential Home setting based in Southend – Essex.To be successful for this role you will be required to have a minimum of 1 year’s recent experience of working as a care assistant within the social care sector
The successful Care Assistant will have experience of:
Assisting staff to lift and turn bedridden patients
Helping clients to move around and communicate
Applying practical intervention procedures for dementia or behavioural problems
Providing personal care (including toilet shower, bathe, and dressing)
Providing a high quality of care to service users
You must have clear written and verbal skills as you will be required to write case notes up

Current manual handling certificate
First Aid certificate
Dementia Training
Health & Safety
Food & Hygiene
Medication
NVQ level 2 in Health & Social Care
