Hours: 8pm to 5.30am Sunday to Thursday

Our client based in Elland are looking to recruit an experienced stock operative on a temp to perm contract. You will be reporting to the Stock Manager and also the Night shift Manager

You will assist with general stock control duties.

Your duties will also include data input, stock checks, and investigations, some general put-away of credits and overstocks. Liaising with other departments by telephone and any other tasks as required.

You will be a well organised team player whilst being equally capable of working on your own initiative and with the ability to prioritise your workload accordingly with minimal supervision.

The role requires good stock analytical skills, numeracy and literacy and the ability to communicate at various levels. You must be computer literate including e-mail, word and excel and willing to learn the stock locating methods, having a keen eye for detail.

The successful applicant will show a good understanding of basic Warehousing and Logistics and have some knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation. You will be computer literate and have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
