Overhead Crane Operator

Baltic Recruitment are urgently recruiting for an overhead crane operator to work for our client based in the Blyth area. The duties of this role will consist of the following;

Daily use of the overhead crane.

To operate stationary or traveling overhead crane to move, lift and position loads which includes products, equipment, machinery and solid or heavy materials, with the aid of hoisting attachments like sling, electromagnet, hook or bucket.

To observe proper load hook-up and determine load safety.
Safe Slinging and Signaling Operations.
All other duties as required.

The suitable candidate must have a valid CSCS card, overhead crane licence and working experience of overhead crane operation. A lifting/slinging/banksman qualification would be useful however not essential.

This short term temporary role is to start immediately.
