Overhead Crane Operator / Warehouse Operative

Salary: £14.32 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Steel Stock-holding company based in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent. Please find a job description below:-

Main Duties:

• Locating stock from the warehouse and delivering to the Production shop floor
• Keeping supply of steel to cutting machines to ensure continuous production processes
• Operating an Overhead Crane
• FLT Licence (Counter Balance) preferred not essential
• Opportunity for the right candidate to be trained on Plasma & Gas Cutting Machines
• Maintaining a positive attitude and working under pressure
• Adhering to strict health and safety procedures
• Previous experience in a similar role advantageous but work ethic is main priority.

Hours of Work:

• Constant NIGHTS
• Shifts: Sunday 11pm -6am, 10pm – 6am Monday to Thursday 

Pay Rate:

£14.32per hour starting rate.
