Location: Crawley, West Sussex

Working hours: Monday to Friday – start time to be agreed – 5am to 6am approx – job and finish

Salary: up to circa £33,600 per annum depending on experience, full time permanent position + annual bonus

Start: ASAP

Our client, on the north side of Crawley, is looking for an experienced van driver to join their team covering deliveries in the London area.

This branch has seen a good increase in business leading to recent expansion and the addition of new team members.

The van driver will work in conjunction with the warehouse manager and other staff and will be responsible for:

Delivering orders to customers mainly in the London area, including Central London.

Ensuring that the business is well represented with great customer focus

Delivering goods to customers working on site

Driving a Mercedes Sprinter LWB vehicle

The role will mainly be driving with the occasional assistance in the warehouse on an ad hoc basis if required.

Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment.

Requirement:

Minimum age of 21 required for insurance purposes

Full UK driving licence

At least 2 years experience in a delivery driving role with some London experience.

Good communication, organisational, time management skills

Dependable and Reliable

A flexible attitude to helping out in the warehouse where required is essential

The ideal candidate will have great initiative, be punctual and reliable and be capable of working in a physical role.

A flexible attitude to your work will give you a distinct advantage.

Starting salary of circa £33,600 per annum + benefits + potential annual bonus.
