Vacancy: Warehouse person / Ad hoc 3.5T delivery driver
Location: Wakefield area, West Yorkshire
Hours: Monday to Friday 7am to 5.30pm
Salary: £26,000 per year + company pension scheme.
Industry: Electrical raceway and containment
Due to the continued ongoing growth of our client’s company they are looking to take on a full time warehouse person who has experience of driving a 3.5T flat bed vehicle.
This can be a physically demanding job requiring the loading and unloading of products from the vehicle, therefore you must be physically fit.
Initially the role will be mainly warehouse work with occasional driving work to cover holidays. There maybe the opportunity to become a full time driver at some point in the future.
You must hold a full, current, clean UK driving licence and have some previous experience of working as a delivery driver.
You will be delivering products around the UK, north of Birmingham.
This could include North Wales, Newcastle, Sheffield, Middlesbrough for example.
You could be doing only 2 drops or perhaps if more local there maybe 6 or 7 drops in a day.
This is a full time permanent position that requires a flexible attitude towards your workload, whether working in the warehouse or out on the road as a driver.
On occasion you will be required to work later as well as finishing earlier when the work is completed.
Monday to Friday – start time of 7am.
