Salary: £300 – £420per day DOE
Job Type: Fixed Term Contract for 6 months

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Data Analyst to join the IT & Systems Department on an initial 6 months FTC. This role can either be based in London or Sutton Coldfield- you will be required to travel between the two sites.

The ideal candidate would be someone with proven work experience as a Data Analyst for more than 3 years with at least 1 year working with Salesforce Dot Com (SFDC.

Position summary:

We are looking for a committed Data Analyst to primarily assist in the migration of our data to Salesforce Dot Com (SFDC) and maintain ongoing data integrity.
You will conduct full lifecycle activities to include requirements analysis and design, develop analysis and reporting capabilities, and continuously monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Take data from primary or secondary data sources and prepare for import to SFDC:
o Work with technical staff on extraction criteria for data to be migrated from legacy systems to SFDC
o Analyse the quality of data to be migrated
o Work with the businesses to ensure that data quality issues are addressed according to the on-boarding schedule
o Identify any new field requirement for each business
o Map any legacy taxonomy data on company activity to the SFDC field structure
• Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Filter and “clean” data
• Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
• Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
• Work closely with management to prioritise business and information needs
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Desired Skills & Experience:

Essential
• Proven working experience as a data analyst for more than 3 years with at least 1 year working with SFDC
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings

Desirable – Advanced skills in Microsoft office & Good Knowledge of SFDC
