Finance Assistant

Salary: £26,000 – £27,600 per year

Finance Assistant – This dynamic market leader construction business in Gloucester is looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to work for one of its subsidiaries in its accounts team. Key tasks will include:

*Validating operational cost reports for each construction project.
*Analysing staff overtime and payments for each project.
*Maintain accuracy of purchase order reporting & analysis
*Reconciliation of plant & hire vehicle costing
*Reviewing supplier, subcontractor & intercompany payment runs
*Assistance with month end process, reporting & analysis
*Assist in producing financial reports
*Liaise with the operational team to resolve queries
*Raise invoices to suppliers on an adhoc basis
*Accurately carrying out cost movement & deletions

The ideal candidate will have some experience in a similar role and be computer literate with strong excel and some knowledge of an accounting system. You will be well educated and keen to progress your career.
