Warehouse Supervisor

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Supervisor to join a rapidly expanding and hugely successful logistics and distribution business. This is a truly exciting time to join the organisation at their Lutterworth site as they continue to develop the warehouse department following unprecedented growth over the past 12 months – something that is expected to continue well into the future.

You will join a friendly business, managing around a team of 30 warehouse operatives within the co-pack department. This will involve the motivation and development of your team. You will be responsible for ensuring a continual flow of stock, the unloading and correct allocation of stock as well as managing critical, timed KPI’s working to target. Quality spot checks will be expected to ensure the quality of product reaches the client in the right condition. In addition, you will ensure that the warehouse is operating in an efficient manner, making sure that good house-keeping practices are in order. Part of your remit will be in the communication of KPI’s to management so you need to have a confident, personable and straight forward approach.

The successful individual will be very hands-on, enjoy getting stuck in and have excellent communication skills. You will be capable of working under pressure and with little supervision. As an individual you will perhaps be looking for that next step in your career. Ambition, honesty and a genuine drive to deliver business objectives are qualities that are sought.

Salary for this opportunity is c£26,000 – £26,400working 6am – 6pm on a 4 on 4 off basis
