Warehouse Operative – Part Time Permanent

Salary: £26,000 per year

About The Role

Salary: £26,000per year increasing to £26,000 per year (both inclusive of evening shift premiums) upon completion of probationary period 

You will be joining a company that is part of the back bone of the NHS. We are essential in the supply of healthcare products throughout the UK. Our Warehouse Colleagues are responsible for carrying out essential roles within our warehouse environment.

This can be:

Picking and packing of orders on our manual picking belt

Picking in the medical bulk area

Picking in the fridge area (attracts a premium)

Picking in secure areas,

Carrying out roles within transport and routing completed orders to their final destination.

You will be responsible for processing customer orders accurately and efficiently as part of our growing team of Warehouse Colleagues.

Hours/days of Employment: Monday – Friday 5.00pm – finish – total 20 hours per week

Some shift could include a Sunday (0900 – 1300) as part of the total 20 hours and this would be discussed at interview.

About the Candidate

If you are a looking to work around childcare, or a student looking for a part time job this may be the opportunity for you…..Our shifts patterns could work around childcare or study requirements.

You will work in a tidy and methodical manner and take pride in a high standard of accuracy. You should be flexible to suit the needs of the business and approach all new tasks with a positive attitude. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will have intermediate Numeracy and Literacy. You will need to be physically capable of standing and walking for long periods, as well as bending and lifting.
