The Opportunity:

Quality Manager / Quality Engineer (Military, Electronics) required to be based out of Gillingham. The Quality Manager / Quality Engineer (Military, Electronics) is a newly created role coming in to an established and expanding company to bring in new ideas and really make the whole quality department your own.

The Role:

For the Quality Manager / Quality Engineer (Military, Electronics) you will be directly responsible for the ISO 9001 system and the quality customer requirements. As this is a newly created role, we are looking for a quality professional who can really add value to the origination and grow the quality department. As the company supply heavily in to rail, military, marine and industrial on the electronics side, experience of quality in to the military market would be massively beneficial.

You will have a Quality Co-ordinator working underneath you and reporting in to you so we will look at both a Quality Manager or a strong Quality Engineer who is really looking for progression. You will have be able to interface with customers and their quality needs, manage supplier quality aspects and continue to upgrade their system.

Responsibility for the ISO 9001 system and its future development
Interfacing with new and existing customers about their quality needs for various products
Management and development of existing quality professional in the organisation

The Person:

For the Quality Manager / Quality Engineer (Military, Electronics), we are looking for a talented professional who is looking to develop a department in the organisation. For this, as discussed we will look at managers and strong, lead engineers. You will have strong ISO9001 skills and have experience of quality in military markets ideally. Any electronic experience would be massively beneficial, but not essential.

Strong ISO 9001 knowledge and system knowledge
Genuine motivation to make a department your own in a newly created role and develop your own career
Experience in marine quality markets ideally
Electronic quality experience also beneficial
