Tender Writer: Highways

Our client is a well-respected Civil Engineering Company with various workstreams including a Highways Division. Due to an increase in workload and renewed contracts they are looking to strengthen the team with an experienced Tender Writer

Key Essentials:

* As Tender Writer you will be responsible for reviewing and completion of bids / tenders whilst promoting and supporting continuous improvement within the tender and sales team

* You will be required to deliver completed bids / tenders within agreed deadlines

* You will be responsible for writing and compiling responses for PQQ and tenders

* The role will include supporting the Bid / Sales Manager in the production of bids / tenders

* As Tender Writer you will be responsible for re-writing and re-working existing pre-written content where relevant

* Your role will involve liaising with other departments to support PQQ and bid responses

* You will be responsible for researching areas of the business to support the production of PQQ/ tenders and for ensuring compliance with PQQ instructions

Requirements:

* As Tender Writer you should be qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in Construction / Civil Engineering

* You should have previous experience of reviewing and completion of bids / tenders to a high standard within the Highways Industry

* You should have excellent communication and time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines

* You should have advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office Packages

* This is an excellent position that offers up to £48,000 – £54,000 + Package
