Salary: £660 per day

Salary up to £660per day.

Minimum 4 months.

My NHS Client is looking for an Interim Contract for Assistant Director System Resilience and Urgent Care. You will have extensive knowledge of urgent care, system resilience, associated healthcare policies and processes.

The post holder will be responsible for:

• Leading the strategic development of system resilience and urgent care including delivering the sustainable acute provision linked to the Health Care review whilst linking to the NHS 5 year Forward Review.
• Provide specialist knowledge across the complete range of urgent care services which will include hospital, community, primary, Out of Hours, ambulance and 111 services.
• Ensuring that work streams and programmes are planned and executed in line with the CCG’s 5 year strategy and effectively delivered through the Programme Board structure of the CCG.
• Play a key role in the annual commissioning cycle and contracting round to ensure that the contracts reflect the agreed strategic outcomes.
• Leading in the provision and service development of an efficient, effective and high quality urgent care services capable of meeting all statutory, regulatory and NHS requirements ensuring alignment with the activity of the organisation to ensure better health and well-being for the community.
• Leading in the development of innovative approaches to urgent care development and service transformation in the CCG health community
• Leading market development and supporting new models of service delivery in urgent care.
• Ensuring projects and programmes within the plan are sustainable beyond the programme dates.
• Defining current processes, facilitating discussions and advising colleagues as to how best practice might be adopted in the definition of future processes, documenting those processes as they are agreed and overseeing their delivery.
• Taking a lead in the coordination of training and development and recruitment activity across the Department / team.
• Oversight and management of all aspects of the relevant Department or Directorate budgets.
