Salary: £26,000 per year
We are currently recruiting for permanent care assistants, day shifts.
Duties include:
Personal care for residents – give practical help where needed in dressing, washing, bathing and toileting, ensuring dignity & privacy of the residents at all time.
Assist residents to dining room at meal times, help serve meals & attend to very dependent residents.
Complete daily notes and residents care plans.
Working within the key worker role to attend to individual resident’s needs.
Encourage residents to be involved in all activities of daily life.
Ensure health & safety and infection control procedures of the home are being met at all times.
Undertake training as required to comply with current legislation.
NVQ Level 2 in Adult Health & Social Care or equivalent is required.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Position is subject to an enhanced DBS check and 2 satisfactory references. Proof of double covid vaccination is a requirement.
Day Shift positions available – 35 hrs week over 5 days on a rolling rota. Will require some weekend shifts.
