SC Education Recruitment is looking to recruit a 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant experienced with moving and handling.

This role is in the Wakefield area, it is full time and is a 1 year fixed term contract starting after the Christmas holidays. There will be the potential for the role to go permanent.

The successful candidate must have:

* A valid moving & handling qualification

* Experience supporting students with physical difficulties

* Excellent communication skills

* A non-judgmental approach and the ability to stay calm when faced with challenging behaviours

* A genuine passion to work with young people

* A Team Teach qualification would be desirable but not essential
