Gas Engineer

Salary: £36,000 per year

Our client – A well established Plumbing and Heating Company based on the outskirts of Ipswich are looking for an experienced Gas Engineer to join their team.

As a Gas Engineer, you will be required to carry out maintenance, servicing, breakdowns and small installations and repairs on a variety of contracts such as Landlords Properties and Letting Agencies, Private properties and some commercial premises.

As a Gas Engineer, you will be required to:

* Carry out service and breakdowns

* Planned and reactive maintenance

* Complete installations

* Troubleshooting and problem solving

* Carrying out minor remedial works

The Gas Engineer will have the following qualifications and experience:

* Relevant Domestic Gas qualifications – CCN1, CEN1, CKR1, HTR1, DAH1, WAT1, CPA1

* Previous experience of a similar role working for a maintenance contractor

* Installation experience would be a bonus

* Ability to work unsupervised and independently.

* Full Driving Licence is essential

* Good communication skills

* Ability to work efficiently and smartly in both Domestic and commercial properties.
