An exciting, fast-paced, innovative events company based in West End London is looking for an enthusiastic, quick-learning and energetic Event Marketing Assistant to join their marketing team.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Event Marketing Assistant will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging and creative digital marketing campaigns to attract paying delegates and free exhibition visitors as well as exhibitor and sponsor marketing.

You will already have done a intern or sandwich degree within events marketing.

Job Role Profile as a Event Marketing Assistant

A Event Marketing Assistant is required to join our successful portfolio of events; the marketing assistant will report into the Marketing Manager and will assist the marketing department of the events teams in achieving delegate audience numbers and revenue targets.

The role will have a particular focus on partnerships and social media management. The marketing assistant will also assist the wider events team in administrative support and tasks relating to delivering on business objectives.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative, talented, driven, confident and eager to learn junior marketer looking to develop end-to-end campaign marketing experience and share in the success of a growing portfolio.

Key responsibilities as a Event Marketing Assistant will include:

– Support the marketing team in their event campaign execution across all appropriate channels including (but not confined to): direct mail, online, e-mail, media, telephone and mobile
– Take the lead on updating the team`s social media platforms to build and reinforce communities around the events
– Manage event partners: building strong relationships, identifying best practice, and tracking activity
– Ongoing website management and updating
– Administrative tasks associated with event production & marketing
